The band is wide with rare bird feathers. The hat was made in 2003. I had the hat made for a charity event called Birds of a Feather. I was unable to attend, sadly, and the hat was never worn. The Feathers are from a rare bird, but I do not remember the name of the birds. The hat measures 7 1/2 to 8 inches. It\'s a gorgeous piece. It\'s a very Elegant and a Classic Hat. The hat was customized from the famous hat designer Paul\'s Hat Works in San Francisco. They have a very famous clientele. New without tags.
