Vintage Ray Ban B&L 1/30 10k GO G15 Outdoorsman USA 58mm - Etsy。An exceptional and highly collectible pair of authentic vintage Bausch & Lomb Ray-Ban sunglasses, identified by the desirable W1857 XSAR model designation and manufactured in the United States during the sought-after pre-Luxottica era. Featuring an uncommon rectangular lens shape paired with a refined gold-tone metal frame, this model stands apart from the more frequently encountered Ray-Ban Aviator, Caravan, and Wayfarer styles. The distinctive proportions create an elegant, timeless look that feels every bit as relevant today as when originally produced. Both original lenses retain their BL etchings, one of the most important authenticity indicators sought by vintage Ray-Ban collectors. The bridge remains correctly marked B&L Ray-Ban U.S.A., while the temple markings identify the frame as model W1857 XSAR. What truly separates this example from most surviving vintage Ray-Bans is its remarkable condition. Many comparable Bausch & Lomb examples exhibit lens scratches, plating wear, missing etchings, loose hinges, or frame distortion from decades of use. This pair presents exceptionally well with crisp markings, clean lenses, and a level of preservation that is increasingly difficult to find.
